In the first study of its kind, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention finds that at least one in four teenage American girls has a sexually transmitted disease. Among those who admitted to having sex, about 40 percent have an STD.
The CDC tested teens for four infections: chlamydia, trichomoniasis, herpes simplex, and HPV.

Don't give yourself to someone unworthy of the gift within you. Your body should only be given to a man who is willing to totally commit for a lifetime to you, and only you. Before you give your all to him, make sure he has demonstrated that he is willing to give his all to you.

Our Nation is in a state of emergency. Every 40 seconds a child is reported missing in the United States. Of these missing children, 33 percent are African American children who are being torn from their families. It is crucial that the African American Community in our country become more involved in the safety of these precious children. There are astronomical numbers of abused, missing and murdered African American children that fail to get the needed exposure in the media. Very rarely are their precious little faces posted on milk cartons and bulletin boards, or reported on network and cable news shows.

As we plan our day, we need to realize that our plans can be subject to change by God. Listening for His instructions is vital, in our service to Him. There’s no special place we need to be to hear Him speak, but we do need to be listening with our hearts. It may be a gentle nudge or even a rebuke. He will whisper, “Go this wayâ€. What great comfort, to know that the God of the universe is with us and leading us, as we go through our day. God can change our every day routines into something dynamic, if we will listen, receive His instructions and act on them.
Prayer
We desire to serve you with every moment of our lives. We are listening today for the sound of Your voice. Lead us and guide us through even the smallest details of our lives. Speak to our hearts today we are listening.
