Evangelist Poindexter is a proud wife and mother. A powerful evangelist and conference speaker, Minister Poindexter has been blessed to share the message of Jesus across the country. BarnesandNoble.com and in select bookstores).Her works have been featured nationally in several magazines and publications.The evangelist also serves as worship leader at Chief Corner Stone Church in Memphis, TN. Professionally, She is a licensed customs broker working in Int'l trade. She serves as Director of Seminars for Peas in Their Pods, an organization that raises awareness for missing and abducted African American children.She is founder of High Calling for Women, Inc., a non-profit organization which provides education, seminars, support, advocacy; raising awareness of the effects sexual abuse, especially within the Black community. She candidly shares her own testimony as encouragement to those who have experienced the trauma of abuse. High Calling for Women also promotes healthy families with its Reclaiming the Family initiative.In addition, Christy hosts a monthly women's fellowship called "Real Talk" which brings women from all walks of life together in a relaxed atmosphere to discuss the issues that affect them most and offers biblical guidance (God's Truth).
