..THE FUTURE IS UNWRITTEN and now I'm too old to die young. I was born and grow up in a town where "Nena" grow up, too. Maybe you remember the #1 hit with Nena also in the USA: 99 luftballons? Also the bands EXTRABREIT, Grobschnitt/Eroc (Krautrock), the ramblers and so on came from here. At the time when Punk, New Wave and Neue Deutsche Welle were very popular in my hometome was a good musicscene, too. Now Nena is living in Berlin and I'm still living in my hometown. (After "the wall" was falling down I had the chance to move to Berlin; I don't take it, but that's another story). Since I was a little boy my first love was the music. I can't explain and I don't know why. My parents hear "German Schlagermusik" and "German Volksmusik". Oh man, my ears. I hate this music so much. I have 3 sisters. They heard their own music. My father worked hard for his money and he can't give us 4 children money to buy anything. That's why I worked hard since I was a little boy to earn my own money. It began in the age of 7 years. And from that money that I earned I bought no cars to play, no icecream and no other things: I bought RECORDS. And every week I bought another one. The first ones were "singles" with 45 r.p.m. Later "longplayer = LP" with 33 1/3 r.p.m. And it was "vinyl". Hey folks: Does anyone know what vinyl is? And my love for music grow up every day. When I was getting older I learn myself to play guitar. I wrote my first own songs and than I played in some different bands. I always loved music but I think this way should not be mine. I never had "big" gigs with the band or alone. And than time goes by and friends go away and I'm going older. But there's still the love with the music...
