The cork comedy collective are pleased to anounce that corks first comedy festival will take place on the 27th-29th of july 2007..The worlds top performers will be visting cork for what promises to be the highlight of the cork festival calender...The cork comedy festival will finally put cork on the map as a nation who can see the funny side of life.The festival will take place right across cork in many different locations.From the pub to the street and will cater for everybody tastes be they mainstream to the surreal every form of comedic talent will be present for a weekend of laughter and joy..This festival will embrace the community and will give cork a dose of humor never seen before in the peoples republic,there promises to be somthing to tickle the most cynical of observers..., burlesque, camp, comicalness, drollery, drollness, facetiousness, farce, , funniness, gag shows, grins, high camp, high times, hilarity, hoopla, humor, humorousness, jesting, joking, laughs, merry-go-rounds, picnics, plays, satire, schtick, send-up, sitcom, slapstick, takeoff, travesty, whoopee, wisecracking, it will be all of the above and more
