About Me

Why not take a look at the bio section to save me typing it all out again?

My Interests

Comedy, fairly obviously.
Films, books, some music (mainly old stuff), cricket, armchair punditry, my rabbits.
Renovating my house and growing things in my garden.

I'd like to meet:

Movies:

I'll watch most things. I'm not a movie snob.

Television:

Sport and Neighbours. That's genuinely it.

Books:

Harry Potter, The Chronicles of Narnia, His Dark Materials and other work by Philip Pullman.
What I think you can gather from the above information is not that I can't handle reading more weighty stuff, but that I like to escape into a world of (sometimes juvenile) fantasy when I'm reading. Thankfully this is counteracted by me also liking to read autobiographies (many of which are truly terrible) and non-fiction humourous travel writing by the likes of Bill Bryson, Tony Hawks, Stephen Clarke etc.
I also read Empire magazine and have collected it since the late 1990s. My partner wants to burn this collection because every time we move house it takes three large men a whole morning to get them into the van.

My Blog
