POW! ZOINK! ZAP! KRANK!

About Me

DOWNLOAD OUR SONGS FROM iTUNES
At the turn of the 21st Century, in a secret laboratory hidden deep within the jungles of Derry an eccentric scientist, Dr. Mento, had devised a masterplan to take control of the planet Earth. He had planned to use stolen DNA samples taken from The Beatles to clone four new musicians that would surely become a supergroup. Using the supergroup as cover, he would implant subliminal messages concealed within their songs that would influence the people of this world into proclaiming him as almighty King & Ruler. His plan didn't work out. Whilst Dr. Mento was taking a short nap his slightly retarded monkey, Krakpo, urinated into the cloning pods thus spoiling the DNA samples. Unwittingly, the crazed scientist continued to carry out the cloning and created four freaks of nature. The Evangelists had arrived.

“The Evangelists, for all their manic on-stage escapades, are a band possessed of a technical proficiency and song writing nous that puts their more highly acclaimed and earnest contemporaries to shame. And what’s more they can damn well entertain….A ripple of palpitating unease permeates the audience. Those at the front are particularly nervous. What if the bogeyman comes and taps me on the shoulder? Indeed watching The Evangelists is like watching some truly frightening horror film.” (Francis Jones, Across The Line review)
The Evangelists are local stalwarts not to be missed. Impressive and frightening, you’ll never forget these guys. Quirky works with talent to produce a Zappa for our time. You know them, love them, sometimes hate them.--------------------------------------
