About Me

My favourite thing at the moment is the snails coming out onto the pavement at night if it has just rained. That and seeing people in fancy dress.I live in london's glamorous peckham. I do stand up comedy and write for the radio and every day i feel like i'm getting one over on the world! I'm not sure how i've managed it but i am incredibly happy at the moment. i'm a relentless, ridiculous optimist.I like walking home late at night on my own, singing along to my walkman and laughing like an idiot. I like being given compilation minidiscs and tapes.i had to sell my minidisc player. I like meeting new people. I like contriving romantic gestures and i wish i could meet people who did the same.I like applique and making my own t-shirts. i want to be one of those people who makes their own clothes but i'm too clumsy to make new patterns.I like writing short stories and i want to do more, write more and generally try harder. i like making collages and all of that.i like chat, take a break and that's life magazines.I love going out for dim sum.I like being the only person up at 4 am. i like it when people write "your" but they actually mean "you're", especially when they put "your wonderful".I like shopping at primark and charity shops and second hand books. i can't help but buy cheap books.I like glasgow, manchester and the north of scotland. i don't like liverpool.I like behaving like a stupid child, and i like hanging out with my 10 year old brother because i can pretend i'm doing it for his benefit and not because i refuse to grow up. My favourite drink is ovaltine. My favourite fruits are sharon fruits and tinned mangoes as they both taste like pudding.

My Interests

Shy covers on youtube (the camera is facing a wall. or you can just see the guitar). Boggle. deliberately falling over, beards, baking, making plans, handicrafts, foreign snack foods, cute male singer/songwriters, going out in the snow (who doesn't love that? idiots.), tiny hats, woolen hats, embellishing clothing/ electrical items/ furnishings/ everything i own, notebooks, left-handed gadgets and paraphernalia, outwitting detectives, american satire, stand up comedy (my first and only true love), writing implausible radio sitcoms, drawing pointless cartoons, drinking tea, cooking curries that are difficult to love, speaking in odd voices, repeating the same joke until it's funny again, making up little songs, writing on myself, sticking gaffer tape to my face like a beard (i'm a sexxxxy lady), meeting strangers, going to parties, travelling to perform comedy, dancing to magnetic fields in my kitchen. that's scary, somehow the word "test" appeared on here but i didn't write it.

I'd like to meet:

People who make me want to try harder at everything. People who try to make their lives poetic and beautiful without becoming pretentious wankers. also people who are buckets of fun. and boys who are kind and funny as hell. (preferably who like primary school style teasing.) people who like to go to the cinema alone in the morning. People who stay up late. these are my two favourite type of youtube videos.. .. width="425" height="350" ...... width="425" height="350" ....also iain lee
