Chitarrista e Compositore di fama nazionale ha esordito nel 1984 con il “TRATTATO DI CHITARRA JAZZ” un’opera didattica Best Seller della didattica moderna. Dal 1998 .. edito dalla Warner Italia. Dall’84 ad oggi Fabio ha pubblicato oltre 500 saggi su riviste specializzate. Ha tenuto seminari e conferenze ovunque in Italia e negli USA. E’ stato il primo musicista Italiano ad essere invitato al Musicians Institute di Hollywood, nel 1990. Ha tenuto concerti e conferenze a Hollywood, Chicago, Milwaukee, New York. E’ stato ospite del telegiornale americano della CBS “CBS NEWS”. Come Band Leader ha all’attivo 4 CD a proprio nome, e altri molti altri come collaborazioni. Ha pubblicato nel 1996 un Video Didattico “La Chitarra” per la Playgame. Ha partecipato alla realizzazione di altri 3 Video Didattci di Massimo Moriconi. Nel 1991 ha Fondato l’ Università della Musica (UM) . Ha svolto dal 1991 al 1993 il ruolo di Direttore Didattico e Direttore della Facolt.. di Chitarra. Dal 2000 ne .. il Presidente. Grande esperto di Informatica, negli USA entra in contatto con Internet. E’ grazie a lui se molte realt.. musicali italiane sono visibili da subito sulla rete. Nel 1998 fonda la Web Music Company Spa, la prima societ.. italiana in grado di distribuire musica digitale attraverso un sistema sicuro e certificato: LIQUID AUDIO. Fabio porta in Italia una esclusiva nazionale dell’uso di questo software innovativo. Sull’onda di questa avventura spinge la SIAE e il suo Presidente di allora, Luciano Bideri, a prendere atto della nuova realt.. e procura cos.. la PRIMA LICENZA IN EUROPA SULLA TUTELA DEL COPYRIGHT ONLINE. Fabio (Vice Presidente della WMC) firma, insieme a Peter Hobart (President WMC) e all’allora Presidente SIAE Luciano Bideri, quella licenza il 18 gennaio 1999. Nel 2003 fonda la UM Records e pubblica il suo nuovo lavoro NADI con il Fabio Mariani Group e con ospiti Jeff Berlin e Danny Gottlieb. Produce anche il nuvo CD di Pino Iodice e l'esordio discografico di Cinzia Tedesco, sempre per la UM Records. A Marzo 2004 apre, con il proprio quartetto, la Prima Edizione dell'Esposizione Universale del Jazz a Genova 2004. Nel 2005 fonda il Fabio Mariani World Wide Group con cui debutta a Parigi al Duc des Lombardes il 4 e 5 Maggio. Il 7 e 8 Maggio registra a Roma, negli UM STUDIOS il nuovo CD "Jazz Appeal". Nel 2006 Fabio diventa Apple Certified Trainer per Logic Pro l' UM diviene l'unica scuola italiana AATCe Apple Authorized Training Center Education.

Is one of the most important Italian Jazz Guitar Players, Teacher, BandLeader and Composer. Fabio wrote, in 1982, the Italian Best Seller “Trattato di Chitarra Jazz” published by Warner Music. In March 2004 the Fabio Mariani Quartet open the Esposizione Universale del Jazz in Genova 2004. In the 2005 start the new group World Wide Group. This group make the debut in Paris at the Duc des Lombardes 4th and 5th of May. The 7th and 8th recording the new album "Jazz Appeal".
