Andrea Celeste was born in Pontedera on the 31st of August 1986.
When only 11 years old, she starts studying piano and classical singing with M. Vittorio Scali and debuts performing on stage.
Her talent doesn't pass unnoticed and she's immediately asked to participate to many concerts, festivals and events with some of the most important international Gospel projects such as, among others, St. Jacob’s Gospel Choir directed by M. Massimo Bracci, Joyful Angels directed by M. Vijay Pierallini, and the American singer Cheryl Porter.
In 2002 Andrea Celeste wins a scholarship for the International Gospel Seminar in Castelbrando and duets on stage with Mario Biondi and Cheryl Porter.
It will be Cheryl Porter herself who, in 2007, will ask Andrea Celeste to join Vox Box, Cheryl's new project, which gives its first performance with Gianni Morandi, one of the most popular Italian artists.
Tireless professional, Andrea Celeste pursues her studies to improve her vocal technique and attends numerous workshops with Maestros such as: Terron Brooks, Ashley Davis, Huntley Brown, Michael e Regina Winans.
During those years, Andrea Celeste is also very busy in recording studios, where she puts her voice out for many gospel, R&B, soul e jazz projects, and in participating to mainstream events as Milano Gospel Festival, for 3 years in succession, being included on a DVD tracing the Festival's highest moments.
On july 2007 Andrea Celeste starts realizing her first solo album.
Produced by Roberto Vigo and labeled Philology, "My Reflection" is the long awaited debut of this young talented artist who writes music and lyrics of the pieces composing the album, entrusted then to outstanding performers as: Gianluca Tagliazucchi (piano), Dino Cerruti (double bass), Rodolfo Cervetto (drums).
Some of the greatest names of Italian Jazz, universally known, come as guests to adorn with their talent this debut album: Roberto Izzo, Stefano Cabrera, Marco Moro, Filippo Gambetta and an incomparable Dado Moroni, who signs and performs, together with Andrea Celeste, one of the album's tunes.
The result is a velvet wrapped Jazz, embellished by the great voice of this artist who proves unique capacity in melting, with rare elegance, stroking tones and an unsuspected strength.
