Band Members: Federica Tassinari musical career starts in 1995 after several years of classical piano and singing studies, theory and harmony.Perceived a prevalent passion for afro-american music, its history and evolution, she decides to devote her attention toward this topic, undertaking further and specific studies either in Italy and abroad, deepening the various aspects of “black†singing, piano-jazz, harmony and jazz technique.She attended several editions of well known work-shops and clinics such as “We love jazz†which revealed conclusive for what concerns choices and artistic growth. Federica has in fact the chance to meet great exponents of the afro-american and jazz music such as the bass players Ray Brown and Ron Carter, the trumpeter Clark Terry, the drummers Bobby Durham and Jimmy Cobb, the saxophonists Red Halloway and Benny Golson, the American vocalist Shawnn Monteiro and Rev. Lee Brown that allowed her to sharpen the art of singing with specific attention toward mainstream style and gospel.In 1998 she is in the United States, adding precious experiences as student in individual work-shops, and exhibiting personally in Boston-MA and Providence-Rhode Isl.Beside and before her musical activity, Federica Tassinari professionally dealt with advanced communication addressed to multi-level companies. Her innate aptitude to relationships and the perfect mastery of the English language, allow her to conjugate music to the pleasant narrative entertainment. Her gigs in fact, are enriched by anecdotes and pleasant introductions, and the shows, often characterized by a central theme, be illustrated either musically and verbally.
