La stessa cosa a volumi bassissimi, perche’ per prima cosa una chitarra va provata da spenta”. La sua lunga carriera artistica gli ha permesso di conoscere il suo strumento in modo totale, dapprima per anni come musicista, poi per un breve periodo anche come assemblatore. Tornato poi a fare il chitarrista a tempo pieno ha scelto il marchio Franz L.A. perche’, come dice lui, “di meglio e’ difficile trovare”. He has worked with many famous musicians in a lot of music recording studios all over Italy and the world, and finally his dream has become true: that is, to play in front of big crowds, also more than 100.000 people, "and you need a great guitar in order to do it, because when you play very loud you can't even immagine how many noises a cheap or not well made guitar can produce. The same thing happens when you play very low, because, first thing first, a guitar must be tried when is off" (Gabriel). His very long artistic career has allowed him to know his instrument completely: at the beginning just as a musician, and then also as a guitar builder for a short time. When he decided to come back to full time play the guitar, he has chosen Franz L.A. guitars because, as he says, "it's hard to find better guitars".------- Regina Musica is a singer and lyric writer and she knows foreign languages, she also plays the piano and loves guitars since she was a child. She keeps on studying for music specializations and at the same time she works in the music field, she is a web designer and she takes care of the customers of the websites she creates (like this one for example).******************************ABOUT FRANZ GUITARS:La Franz L.a. nasce nel 1999 a Terni con alle spalle anni di esperienza ed una lunga tradizione che affonda le sue radici nella liuteria classica. Creatore dell’azienda è il Maestro liutaio Mirko Costantini che, dopo una lunga esperienza nel suo laboratorio di restauro di strumenti ad arco e a plettro, si diploma in liuteria a Gubbio sotto la direzione del maestro Di Sante Cellini e successivamente si specializza nei laboratori di numerosi celebri liutai italiani e francesi nella costruzione di strumenti elettrici, tradizionali e sperimentali. A Gennaio del 2004 vengono inaugurati i nuovi locali di Casteldilago, attrezzati per la produzione artigianale di ogni singolo strumento, realizzato miscelando il meglio della liuteria classica e moderna. Finalmente, nel 2007, la Fanz L.A. si sposta a Terni allestendo una vera e propria fabbrica sita tra Terni e Stroncone, in un posto immerso nel verde intenso di questa meravigliosa regione. La ricerca, le collaborazioni con i musicisti (tra i migliori in Italia, che da anni si avvalgono degli strumenti prodotti dalla Liuteria Artistica Franz) ed infine l’accurata progettazione, concorrono a creare strumenti versatili ma con una spiccata personalità. Strumenti questi ultimi, costruiti interamente a mano, utilizzando le migliori materie prime attentamente selezionate. “Gli strumenti anonimi non ci sono mai interessati” - sottolinea Mirko – “per questo, creiamo strumenti a misura di musicista”. Ed è questo che ha da subito convinto Gabriel ad avere la sua prima Franz (possiede la chitarra numero 1 della liuteria Franz L.A.), dopo aver posseduto per un’intera carriera le chitarre piu’ blasonate del mondo: dalle Gibson les Paul alle Paul Reed Smith, non dimenticandoci di tralasciare le ormai ultrafamose Fender telecaster e stratocaster: tutti modelli di punta delle suddette case costruttrici…se ha lasciato andare tutte queste chitarre per le Franz L.A. un motivo ci sarà!--------------------- ABOUT FRANZ GUITARS ENGLISH VERSION: Franz L.A. Guitars "was born" in 1999 in Terni, after many years of experience and a long tradition that has its roots in classic artistic lutherie. The creator of this trade mark is the Master Luthier Mirko Costantini that, after working a lot in his laboratory of string and plectrum instruments repair, got a master degree in Artistic Lutherie at the Gubbio Lutherie School, under the direction of the Master Luthier Di Sante Cellini, and then he specialized himself in many laboratories of famous Italian and French Master Luthiers, in building electric, traditional and experimental instruments. On January 2004 the laboratories of Casteldilago opened, and they were equipped for the production of every single artistic hand crafted/ handmade instrument, realized mixing the best of traditional and modern lutherie. Finally, in 2007, Franz L.A. laboratories moved to Terni, placing its factory between Terni and Stroncone, in a beautiful pictoresque (and typical of the Umbria region) green landscape. The research, the collaborations with the musicians ( the most famous Italian ones, that have been playing Franz Guitars for many years) and finally the accurate planning and design, come together to create versatile instruments but with a strong personality. They are completely hand built, using the best choice materials. "Anonimous instruments have never interested me" - points out Mirko - "that's why we create instruments for musicians, paying attention to their actual needs" . And this has immediately convinced Gabriel to buy the first Franz guitar ever made (he still owns the 1 Franz L. A. Guitar), after having owned the most important guitars in the world: from Gibson Les Paul to Paul Reed Smith, without forgetting the super-famous Fender stratocaster and telecaster: all the best models of the above mentionned trade marks.... if he let all those guitars go for Franz L.
