I was privledged as division KIAR (Kiwanis International Acredited Representative) to help form the Kiwanis Club of Commack and The Kiwanis Club of Babylon-West Islip. My Brother, Floyd is past President of the Rotary Club of Peekskill. I believe we were following in the footsteps of our Grandfather, Harry Zahl who was president of his Rotary in South Carolina.I have been involved with "The Match Of Dimes" and their "Walk America", United Cerebral Palsey, The Cleary School For The Blind, The Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, The Apple Drug Rehabilitation Program, and headed the "Committee Against Hunger" doing food drives all year long including I was a "Kiwanis Bell Ringer for the Salvation Army's "11 Days Of Christmas.
