Mothers Acting Up UK

mobilizing mothers on behalf of the world's children

About Me

Introducing Mothers Acting Up in the UK, a mother-led mother-fed movement of mothers and others moving from concern to action on behalf of the world's children. This year, we're mobilizing around three major campaigns: 1) (the true cost of) war, 2) environmental sustainability, and 3) the MDGs, protecting our global family. From beginner activists to hard core advocates, we have all the tools you need to use your voice wisely and most effectively. Check out our website and sign up for our monthly action updates at:

It’s time to show up on the radar screen! One voice calling for health care for all children is great. 100 voices, better yet. 1,000,000 voices and every child has health care. That is the undeniable truth & beauty of taking collective action. Working together, we can create a world fit for all children. Come add your voice to the movement!

My Interests

Child and family advocacy. Stopping the next war now. Ending poverty and educating self and others on the MDGs. Giving children a bigger piece of the proverbial pie.

I'd like to meet:

Mothers and others interested in standing up for ALL children (and their families) wherever they live on earth. All people and organizations interested in uniting diverse groups of people in a common goal - the future wellbeing of our children.

Books:

2007 MAU Mother Leadership Handbook / Calendar, Stop the Next War Now
