I've been wracking my brain trying to find something poetic to say here, but everything comes out so corny. I find Myspace corny by nature, which is why I've resisted so long to give in to the trend. I have no desire to put up half-naked photos of myself and commence with others that love to advertise their debauchery, and Myspace has become at least 75% of that: mindless clutter. It's a pretty disenchanting window into our society. It doesn't have to be though. The purpose of this profile is simply to bring attention to issues I care about. I would like to help make people aware of the importance of pet adoption(both locally and nationally) as opposed to breeding and buying, spaying and neutering, pet overpopulation, the inhumanity of the fur industry, and many other issues related to the well-being of animals. Closest to my heart are the shelter animals I currently help care for. Please look at the slide to view the animals in Vermont currently waiting for a home. If you are able, consider opening your home to a pet that desperately needs it. Millions of loving cats and dogs(of every breed) are euthanized each year. There is no need to go to a breeder. Don't wear fur either. Why should an animal be totured in the name of fashion? I know I'm starting to sound like an annoying girl scout, but this IS myspace. It doesn't seem to put too many people in the best light. At least I'm a geek with a purpose...haha. Thanks for viewing my page.
