About Me

BritFilms TV is an Independent and free to use online Film Channel with over 200 short films available to view. We add new films every week and we update our website at least five times a day with the latest news stories from the Hollywood and UK film industries. We also run two easy to enter competitions every single week with some fantastic prizes up for grabs. See our Competitions here.
Other content on the BritFilms TV website includes reviews of the latest cinema and DVD releases and a newly launched 'Made in the Midlands' Short Film channel.
We also have a weekly email newsletter that keeps all our subscribers up-to-date with what we're doing and a run down of the week’s most interesting news and reviews – great if you’re in a rush. If you’re a filmmaker and have a short film and would like to see it on our website then send it to us here. We want your films!
Check out these trailers showcasing some of the short films to be found on BritFilms.tv

My Interests

The movies of course.

I'd like to meet:

Film lovers, Film makers, people who work in the Film industry - both in front of and behind the camera. Creative people and anyone who likes our website.

Music:

Film scores and cracking songs used in our fav films. We also like: Electronica, Electronic music and daft bleeping noises (Jezman's favs), Classical (chills the Godfather out), Jacko (Nickman likes), Indie (Sarah reminisces about yesteryear) and well, anything really, cos Captain Review just ain't fussed.

Movies:

Well, after mucho scratching of barnets and plenty of discussion (in an office full of film lovers that's quite a big deal!) we have the following top 5 from each of us. See if you can guess which 5 films belongs to who...

1) Gone With the Wind. 2) The Godfather. 3) Payback (1999). 4) One member of our team is still thinking... 5) Yep, you've guessed it - they're still thinking.

1) Heat (1995). 2) Marathon Man. 3) Stand By Me (1986). 4) A Guide to Recognising Your Saints. 5) Jaws.1) Saturday Night and Sunday Morning. 2) Get Carter (1971). 3) Dead Man's Shoes. 4) Billy Liar. 5) Control (2007).1) Goodfellas. 2) Raging Bull. 3) The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. 4) Carlito's Way. 5) Donnie Brasco.

Television:

TV!? No, not much really, unless it's a film (come on, what did you expect!?) AND it isn't being shown on ITV, Channel 4 or Channel 5 (adverts during a film...WTF will they think of next!?)

Books:

Do comics count?

Heroes:

Film makers of any genre who are true to the spirit of film and film making. Independent film makers. Anyone who works to promote the UK film industry. Actors and actresses who choose diverse film roles and haven't consigned themselves to the glut of "I'm not funny anymore so I'll keep making shit films 'cos I'm a sell out" (Hmmm, Messrs. Steve Martin, Eddie Murphy, Ice Cube, Rowan Atkinson and Jean Reno - is there any reason why you're sat at the back?)
Oh, and Batman!
