About Me

Download.com Editor's Review: The electronic experimental synthesis of Angel Dust 216 speaks the language of life in the late 20th century, a time during which bandmates Mox and Marsh were growing up listening to electronic legends like Autechre and Kraftwerk. Melding an industrial-robotic punk lyricism with heavy synth-pop tendencies, they pay homage to the mothers and fathers of IDM and electronic music. Drawing in on some larger more prominent artists such as Kraftwerk, Autechre & Aphex Twin, the two came closer to their sound of today. Along with the growth of the genre, technology takes a great hand in this evolution...Two boys, now two men. 20 years of growth within one of the most prominent & amazingly complex musical genres to date. Mox & Marsh pay homage to many...The Angel Dust 216 of today is one of many influences, particularly familiar to IDM.
