About Me

I'm a wife, a mother, an Internet Strategist and a writer.
During three years at Burness Communications, a Bethesda-based public relations firm serving non-profit clients, I directed Internet marketing campaigns for a wide array of groups, including the Progress on Pain Writer's Project, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the Annie E. Casey Foundation, the National Network for Immunization Information, and Science News for Kids.
I launched my own firm, Cruz Coleman Communications ,in February 2005.
My fiction has appeared in Slow Trains Literary Journal, Quality Women's Fiction Magazine, In Posse Review, Rosebud, The Saint Ann's Review, Thought Magazine, Sundry: A Journal of the Arts, Small Spiral Notebook, among others. My fiction has also been nominated for the Pushcart Prize and won third place in one of Glimmer Train's Short Story Contests.
