I’m passionate about music and photography in equal measure and have established a reputation for my imaginative & striking gig, festival & album photography. I specialise in Celtic, folk, roots, jazz and Indie musician photography.
I work patiently, unobtrusively, and I’m always looking to capture that ‘special moment’.
I undertake commissions for CD photography (see recent examples of my work here) and music-related publicity/promotion/posters. Please get in touch with me if you are interested in commissioning me for your next project; I will be happy to discuss your ideas with you and let you know my availability, fee etc.
I’ve built up a huge portfolio of high quality musician shots over a number of years, and my work is featured regularly and extensively in UK & Belgian folk/roots magazines & newspapers - in particular in the Living Tradition Magazine in the UK, and Folkroddels in Belgium.
I'm delighted to have been selected as Official Photographer in Residence for Celtic Connections 2008. In 2007, I was an accredited photographer at Celtic Connections, Cambridge Folk Festival, Lorient, Quimper, The Big Whistle Weekend, Willie Clancy Week, Nafirbolg, Deerlycke, TØnder and many other festivals. I've also worked for Dranouter, Saint-Chartier & other European Festivals and my photos have been used extensively in their brochures/publicity materials.
Besides my proven track record in music-related photography, I undertake a wide variety of photography commissions and projects here in my home country.
Future plans include a major exhibition of my work at Celtic Connections Festival 2009.
