I come from a close family of five children - all born within seven years and whom I love very much - and tremendous parents who did a great job. My children and ceilidh band are my pride and joy - they are so bright and funny and can really make me laugh! Daughter is going to be a fantastic Chiropractor and my son is musically gifted. The band members are much better musicians than me tho' I am just as musical. They suffer me as the caller... and administrator/stress bearer! As far as most of them are concerned, I could also be their mother... nightmare...
I come from a long line of musicians, mostly eccentric but some of whom got it together enough to start Schotts Music Publishing way back when. I ficher aboot with the whistle, harmonica, guitar and am currently learning fiddle. What a swine of an instrument... but how wonderful when played well!
