About Me

"One infinitely versatile instrument that dazzles audiences worldwide!"The eight young international vocalists that make up the swingle singers have inherited a unique singing tradition that spans over forty years and forty-eight albums of music-making.Since it's foundation in the early '60s and throughout many incarnations and name-changes, the group has won Grammies, collaborated with artists as diverse as the Modern Jazz Quartet, Quincy Jones, Jarvis Cocker, Paul McCartney Luciano Berio, Michael Nyman and Shlomo and toured the globe with it's trademark vocal sound. One of the leading groups in the world of a cappella, the swingle singers have to be experienced live, where the combination of startling arrangements, thrilling choreography and skillful vocal percussion really do create the illusion that you're hearing a lot more than just the eight people onstage! For more information on the group, tour schedule, history, music and recordings, drop by our website:www.swinglesingers.com| with best wishes from | the swingle singers "myspace.com/swinglesingers" is maintained by the swingle singersWWW.SWINGLESINGERS.COM
