HOW MUCH POT COULD A POT COOK COOK, IF A POT COOK COULD COOK POT?
Hi there! My name is Joey, aka Puff Mama. I am a lover and a fighter, a defender of plants and animals, rejeuvenator of instincts and forgotton ways. I am a planet protector and truth whisperer. I am Mother Nature's guardian, her devoted pit bull. But really I am a cookie baker, a shop keeper, a comedy nut and occasional singer. I bake awesome hempseed cookies, but am more well known for the ones made with cannabis! I've been baking for years for several compassion clubs, and I recently opened a little hemp boutique and tea parlour in Toronto, Canada.
My shop has all kinds of paraphernalia and hemp clothes, cosmetics, jewellery and of course ... my cookies and others from bakers like Mr. Cookie, Space Girl and Watermelon. We also stock herbal aphrodisiac concoctions like Love Potion and Love Cherries and herbal tinctures like Kava and Clava Huasca. We plan to carry a full range of herbal aphrodisiacs and ethnogens soon. Plants have a forgotton power and I hope to create a positive outlet for them.
Our tea parlour is designed to be a showroom for the cannabis plant and other herbs. We have hemp in everything from the cakes and cookies, to the coffee and smoothies. We have many vaporizers for rental and many healing herbs like mint, lavender, chamomile and mullein on the tables. WHERE HEMP MEANS HOPE, AND PLANTS GET A CHANCE!
Hemp is a miracle plant, it's the honest truth - no gimmicks! We all know hemp as a powerful fibre, as a paper, and as a fuel, but did you know, that it is also highly nutritious? So nutritious in fact, you could survive on it alone? It is very high in protein, and has high levels of Omega 3 and 6. Plus it contains essential fatty acids, essential amino acids, fibre, minerals and nutrients. It is an excellent meat and nut replacement, has no know allergies to it, is easy to digest, and it tastes yummy!!!
Did you know the human body actually has an endo-cannabinoid system? That means we have cannabinoid receptors in out bodies - a lot of them in fact - throughout the whole body, even in our brains, our bones and digestive system. This means we're supposed to eat it, just like other foods. Sometimes when I look at the world around me I wonder if a few generations of not eating hemp has actually created a cannabinoid deficiency, and if that deficiency has a visible side effect ... (shakes head, tells self she must be paranoid)
I'd like to meet other like minded cannabis and human rights activists. I am very social and love to network, discover new ideas, and find the circles in life. I like just about any kind of person, and get along with pretty much anyone, but I prefer to hang with those who actually put their life to a cause, whatever it may be.
I have had a lot of adventures in my life, and all have put me directly on the path of cannabis activism, as a soldier in this war on drug (and if you don't think this is a war, keep researching!) Another passion of mine, is to try to give voice to the many animals caught in the cross fire of this stupid drug war. I have two gorgeous pitbull crosses that are the greatest. I got them because my dog had just died, and my neighbours dog had too many pups. I grew up with big dogs my whole life, and I knew no matter what kind of dog they were, I could train them to be decent dogs. I really hate the image and the abuse that is prominently displayed it our culture, and the subsequent banning of the dogs in some provinces and states. These dogs are some of our best friends, dedicated to the end, and there's not enough respect for this. Many people put thier pets lives in danger because of their activities. Many don't care and don't deserve their pets. Check out Skunk magazine for my upcoming article on pit bull prohibition, and for the love of the maker, please get the word out that prohibition of anything makes things worse, even pit bulls!
