Many years ago, in a big park called, “The Boston Commonâ€, I shared a “joint†with Joan Baez, a popular folk singer of the late 60’s. Little did I know this was the start of a lifetime association with cannabis. The first benefit I discovered is that cannabis makes you sleepy. I’ve had trouble most of my adult life and here I was, slipping into a deep restful sleep without the usual tossing and turning. Now where do I more of this “Wonder of Natureâ€. This became a problem, a steady, dependable supply of high quality marijuana was not available, especially by a person such as myself who is somewhat removed from “The Sceneâ€This began an on/off relationship with cannabis lasting approx. thirty six years plus. In later life I discovered that aside from helping me sleep it also assisted my other medications with controlling my arthritis pain in my hands which the standard medication did not seem to alleviate. In addition my prostate started to act up and getting a full night’s sleep became almost impossible. Once again cannabis to the rescue… deep restful sleeps all night long.In mentioning my difficulties in accessing quality cannabis, a friend of mine suggested that I contact a local Toronto Cannabis Club.. In doing so, I finally have my arthritis under control to the point I can type this testimonial. I’m getting a full night’s sleep every night and life is very good.W.D.
