About Me

Perform at Toronto's 5th Annual INDIE WEEK and get noticed!

FESTIVAL!

INDIE WEEK strives on being an artist friendly festival that provides opportunities for networking, exposure, and education by having industry panels and seminars mixed in with artist showcases. The festival features local talent and has had international talent coming from as far as Ireland, Seattle, Dominican Republic, Boston, New York, Calgary, Vancouver, Texas, and many more!(90% of the artists in previous years have been selected through Sonicbids.com)

PRIZES!

This year's five-day event will continue to provide exciting opportunities for acts to gain exposure along with a chance to win a prize package inlcuind $1000 cash + prizes (check indieweek.com for updates). Last year INDIE WEEK gave out 2 prize packages worth over $5,000 each including sponsored prizes from : SHURE Microphones, DOT-ON-SHAFT GUITARS, MASTERMIND STUDIOS, Blue Print Image INC., CHART MAGAZINE, Toonage.ca, JAGERMEISTER, Band Aide PR, and more!

VENUES!

INDIE WEEK works with over 10 of Toronto's top downtown venues including The Horseshoe Tavern, The Bovine Sex Club, The Rivoli, The Drake Hotel, The Reverb, Holy Joe's, El Mocambo, Rancho Relaxo, and more! Last year’s festival had over 80 artists performing and 1,200 people in attendance.

INDIE WEEK ARTISTS MAKE CONNECTIONS!

In the past artists have gone on to work with producers, managers, booking agents, labels, publicists, lawyers - as a result of meeting at Indie Week. Having industry judges at showcases ensures industry in the room. Artists must impress!

INDUSTRY!

INDIE WEEK is working on building industry panels that are informative and educational. Announcements will be made through indieweek.com - stay tuned for updates regarding former touring members of Killing Joke and Nine Inch Nails speaking at INDIE WEEK '08!!!

VALUE!

All of the artists who perform will receive scores from a panel of industry judges. The artists with the highest scores perform again on the last day and compete for prize packages. Last year's prize packages were worth over $5,000! Additionally, all selected artists will receive a full registration package (performers pass + 1 wristband per band member + 5 additional wristbands).

All artists who attend/perform leave with a memorable experience!
