Sounds Like: The 'HO is a bunch of influences rolled into one. If Can, The Byrds and the Pop O Pies got into a street fight with the Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers, The Mothers of Invention, Sun Ra's Arkestra and Mission of Burma with PIL, David Allen's Gong and Gwar all cheering from the sidelines. How's that for ya! Seriously, a lot of sound for one guy, blistering, stinging guitar and bass layered over complex improvised loops, with industrial segues, monologues, rants and stories between bittersweet songs of many genres and styles. A blend of Rock, Punk, Jazz, Spoken Word, along with improv and soundscapes. Blend the raw humor of Lenny Bruce and Gwar, the social/political commentary of the Fugs and Gil Scot Heron, the punk bite of the Pop O Pies, mixed with the abstract Jazz of (Cleveland's Own) Albert Ayler and the experimentation of Can and Faust and you should get where THE 'HO is coming from!
