Alex was born in Bulgaria, where his father, Alexander Petrounov, started The Silver Bracelets, the first rock band in the country.
When Alex was fourteen years old, his father gave him a guitar and taught him a D chord. Since then, music has been his mechanism for connecting words and melodies, chords and rhythms, into songs that could utter feeling to people. Here are a few of these songs.
