Basic Theory is a band that has an essential foundation to express their style of music through live instrumentation.
The band consists of six talented and skilled musicians.While their musical careers have spanned over several years, the band itself was established in the summer of 2005 in an effort to produce a unique sound and master a variety of musical genres including jazz,
soulful/smooth R&B, gospel, rock, pop, and hip-hop.
Their sound and repertoire attracts a diverse audience as they strive to speak to every one of different cultures, allowing them to understand how music has the ability to heal, encourage, inspire and motivate.

In unison when the trumpeters and the singers were to make themselves heard with one voice to praise and to glorify the LORD, and when they lifted up their voice accompanied by trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and when they praised the LORD saying, "He indeed is good for His lovingkindness is everlasting," then the house, the house of the LORD, was filled with a cloud, so that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud; for the glory of the LORD filled the house of God.
