Recording Drums on the new Curtis Band Record: ..Producing the Nate Poole EP... ..>Making the Say You Will RecordBrent Hendrich began his career in music as a musician -- playing guitar in a band while he was in high school -- but his interest in recording quickly won out over his interest in performing. While in high school, Brent instantly connected with the studio environment when his band recorded their first record. By the time they were ready for there second record Brent had assembled his own studio in his parents home at the age of 17. During this time, Brent was able to spend countless hours learning the ins and outs of production and engineering. When Brent graduated high school in May of 2000, there was no doubt that recording was his passion and that this was what he would be doing as a full time career. In September of 2000, Brent moved 300 miles away from his birthplace in East Tennessee to Nashville and enrolled at the School of Audio Engineering (SAE). While at SAE, Brent worked diligently and graduated 9 months later from the program. After SAE, Brent obtained an intern position with Triple S Productions which later resulted in a position with the company. While working for Triple S, Brent was involved with Engineering various orchestral cues and pop songs for CBS Daytime television. "On My Own" which was a full length feature on CBS, was nominated for an Emmy for best original song. Brent also temporarily took over Music City Music productions from Triple S owner Brian Siewert and played guitar on a side for Atlantic recording artist Leslie Mills. After a successful year at Triple S, Brent began working with highly respected Christian Rock Producer, Pete Stewart. While working with Pete, Brent was involved with many tasks including Production Assistance and Engineering. Brent worked on two primary projects while working with Pete: Sanctus Real (Sparrow Records/EMI) and Hero-The Rock Opera (Meaux Records/EMI). Brent was the primary engineer for both projects while Pete was in charge of Production.Currently Brent operates his own Project Studio and Production Company, WestEnd Productions, as a Dove Award winning Producer/Engineer/Mixer specializing in Rock and Pop. Brent is currently available for the Production of Masters and Master Demos. He is also available for Producers needing an Engineer and/or Mixer.
