About Me

Buy Eimear's tracks by clicking on the banner.

Eimear started playing the violin at the age of seven in her native Belfast, Ireland. After completing her music degree she moved to the North West of England to develop her career both as a teacher and as a performer/writer.
The songs and instrumentals heard above are from the set list of her exciting new live project. She composes, sings, plays the violin, whistles and keyboards on the tracks heard above.
Eimear has just joined a new band with Adrian Edmondson ('The Young Ones' & 'Bottom') called 'The Bad Shepherds',
'...This is the exciting new collaboration conceived by Adrian Edmondson featuring Maartin Allcock from Fairport Convention and Jethro Tull, Troy Donockley renowned for his work with Iona, Maddy Prior and Midge Ure plus rising Irish star violinist and vocalist - Eimear Bradley.' Buy your tickets now for the UK theatre tour at www.thebadshepherds.com!
The Bad Shepherds revisit punk era classics and add arrangements inspired by traditional music. The effect is stunning as new wave anthems from The Jam, The Clash, Kraftwerk, The Stranglers, Squeeze, The Sex Pistols and others are approached from an acoustic standpoint.
Eimear is the credited fiddle player on the Sound Track of the 'Bob The Builder movie 'Built to be Wild'. In 2006 she made an appearance in the movie 'Half Light' alongside Demi Moore which is now available on dvd. She has recently come back from a UK tour with the modern Irish dance and music show 'The Essence of Ireland' with the band she is in, 'The Bogtrotters'. To see a tiny clip of Eimear in the show follow this link: http://www.diddlyi.com/video/video/show?id=695138:Video:8734 1Her music has received many great reviews from BBC and other Folk radio stations in Ireland and The UK. All of the songs heard above have been receiving airplay on BBC Radio Ulster with Gerry Anderson, Sean Coyle and Eamonn Friel. George Jones on Belfast's U105 has also complimented and given airplay to her song 'Come Home'. Eimear has guested on the shows of Tommy Sands, Lisa Flavelle and Phil Brown. As well as being a musician, Eimear is an actress and presenter in Cheshire. She is on the books of Urban Talent at Nemesis, Manchester. When living in Belfast Eimear landed the lead role in the BBC Northern Ireland screen play 'Cafe Society.'
