About Me

I'm a wife, mum to Martin and Claire and fairly recent grandmum to a beautiful grandaughter. My family are the most important people in the world to me. If they are happy then i'm happy. I work part time as a receptionist in the local newspaper office, which is the ideal job for me as i love talking to and helping people out. Although i'm 52 i think i'm still quite young in my mind. I consider myself Jack of all trades, but Master of none. Have tried lots of things in my life including riding a motorbike in my 40s, but decided that i was happier as a pillion. Have toured lots of countries on a bike, but that phase has now passed and am more into classic cars now. Have two at the moment. love the social side of that, you meet some great people. I love Ginger cats, think i must have been one in a previous life.

My Interests

listening to music, reading, gardening, travelling,(love Ireland) Classic Cars and bikes. Going out with some great friends.

Anyone and Everyone with any talent at all, be it musical, artistic or academic. Or anyone that can make me laugh.

Music:

Will listen to anything apart from RAP, from Matt Munroe to Metallica. Favourites include Crowded House, Snowpatrol, Beatles, Pink Floyd,Eagles, Richard Hawley, Seth Lakeman, Manic Street Preachers,Rush,Muse,Eva Cassidy, Dusty Springfield,KT Tunstall,Beverly Knight,Winter Wilson,Dedboy,The Jubs,Oak (just Because) to name just a few. Love the Motown sound. I like MYspace as it gives me the chance to hear a lot of talented people that i would'nt normally have access too. Fav music of all time, War of The Worlds, Fav track of all time Forever Autumn, Justin Haywood.

Movies:

Gorilla's in the mist, Jesus Christ Superstar. Don't really watch that many.

Television:

Wildlife Docs, Real Life Docs, Old style sit coms, British Super bikes and Touring Cars,Top Gear, any music programmes.

Books:

Auto-biographies, Biographies, Historical Novels, The odd Catherine Cookson when theres nothing else.
