I have a new comic book out! I Love Led Zeppelin: Panty-Dropping Comics by Ellen Forney (Fantagraphics Books) is a collection of my comics from newspapers (LA Weekly, The Stranger), magazines (BUST, Oxford American), and various comic anthologies. You can check out two interior pages in my "pics."
AL-so... Monkey Food: The Complete "I Was Seven in '75" Collection (also Fantagraphics, 1999) collects my ol' weekly strip into handy paperback form. "Lustlab Ad of the Week" is my weekly spot in the Stranger - it's a one-panel adaptation of one of their kinky .. personal ads. I'm doing graphics for a novel with Sherman Alexie for Little, Brown. I've been a comics professor at Cornish College of the Arts since 2002.
I do custom wedding invitations, featuring a portrait of the couple; I have samples on my website (www.ellenforney.com). I just received Seattle Bride's Best of 2006 "Hippest Invitations" Award... so I guess they're hip?
