The form of the bowl took inspiration from backyard swimming pools that skateboarders began using in the 1970’s. It can be seen both as a large sculpture as well as a forum for the expressive movement of the skateboarders.Bennett Jordan and I taking a break at the Autumn Bowl. Bombed out warehouses make the best art galleries! A bunch of us silly skateboarder/artists got together and built this big skatepark-like structure in Greenpoint/Brooklyn.Ann Hamilton does amazing work. I had the opportunity to work with her in New York throughout the summer of 2001. Fun.No Touching Ground came to my studio and hooked me up. My Interests

Life, art/skateboarding, keepin' it real......(in no particular order).A properly executed frontside flip is more effective than an apple when fending off the doctor.When I'm not pondering stocastic calculus, I can be found performing indy tre's out of silly bowls everywhere!Celebrate regular bowel movements by getting old school!

I'd like to meet:

Less critics, more creators.DEVO circa 1978-84. In general, everyone I've met has probably inspired or influenced me in one way or another, good or bad.A Family of "Sea Monkeys" can tolerate varying levels of salinity, and a common biology experiment in school is to investigate the effect of salinity levels on the growth of these creatures. They have a rudimentary nervous/spinal system, which leads researchers to believe that they may be used in experiments without concern for animal ethics.
