About Me

Hello there! I'm Ted!
I'm a screenwriter by trade, but I also dabble in directing , producing , and book-writin' (just wrapped my first novel ). Oh, and I'm a total movie geek . I'm always looking for new stuff to work on and I love helping folks find new projects . I'm very active in the indie horror , sci-fi , and exploitation movie scene.
I'm pretty open to just about anything except rap music , reality TV , oxygen-wasters who think the world is only 6000 years old , and Right-Wing Republicans .

If you wanna add me, you'll need to know that my last name is spelled "Geoghegan". I'm not on here to have 10,000 friends. I want to reconnect with old buddies and make new connections in the industry - especially in NYC. If I don't know you personally, there's not much of a chance that I'll add ya - but if you're a filmmaker, I need an e-mail before you send me a friend request. If there's nothin' waitin' for me in my mailbox when I get your request, I'll most certainly delete it. Nothin' personal, but I get too many and I only want friends who actually care to know me. I'm odd like that.
Oh yeah, and don't ya dare send me messages or bulletins about being saved, worshipping Jeebus, needing my prayers, or becoming born again. I was born AWESOME the first time.
Oh, and CLICK HERE for my IMDb profile!

Summer blockbusters? What are my chances?

Since my wife and I moved to New York, we've seen surprisingly less films in the theater than we ever saw in Montana. The reason being that it takes an hour by subway to get there and an hour to get h...
