Creative like minded friends, teachers, writers, all types of artists... angels, parents who practice mindful parenting, body workers, peace activists, animal lovers...sane conscious human beings!
I believe that each of us is a spark of divinity and together we become a flame that can change the direction of our planet. I have never been able to understand mean spiritedness in people and that is why I prefer children and animals... but I have not yet lost faith in the intrinsic beauty of inspired souls....so Please...inspire me!..

Anything with depth...and creativity. I love the kinds of movies that give me goose bumps because they celebrate the divinity within the human spirit. Those are truly amazing. I loved "Hearts in Atlantis!" " I Am Sam","What dreams may come." "Mr. Holland's Opus" "Little Miss Sunshine" "Patch Adams"... One of my favorite actors is Robin Williams because he can be silly, sweet and serious...all at the same time!
I usually only use our television to watch a video. I think the country has gone mad. U2 had it so right when they wrote the song lyrics..."television the drug of the nation...breeding ignorance and feeding radiation!"
I love them all...I could spend hours in book stores, or in the library. I have a zillion but prefer books that have a life lesson to teach! My favorite poet is Rumi. One of my favorite sayings by Rumi is: "Be truthful now, see yourself as you plainly are. You've got a hidden wound, and this is not time for posing. When inward tenderness finds that secret hurt, the pain itself will crack the rock and, AH! Let the soul emerge."
My heroes are people who care enough to work on themselves and become truly present... People who are real...and unpretentious...some others who everyone recognizes as amazing human beings are....
