JAC, I discovered I had a talent when I turned 8 years old. Mom gave me an illustration assignment and to her amazement I accomplished the project with fairly good results. As an adult I switched from a paint brush to a camera to embarked on a career in photography, however, I soon realized how unsatisfied I was, with a camera I could go only so far, while painting & illustration allowed much more control of the environment.
I attended Palomar college in San Marcos, California, first majoring in photography and later switching to English and fine arts. I miss school and great teachers like Mr. Sternagle and Mr. D.Durrant.
I am currantly working on illustrating children's books & teaching art.
