(This is a
caduceus, associated with Hermes, the Greek god whose equivalent is Mercury in Roman mythology. The caduceus is an ancient symbol, now used by the medical profession, and associated with healing generally. It has special significance for me.)

About Me?
Please have a look at my new Caduceus Astrology website . There's still lots to be done and it's constantly being improved on and updated, so if one page is more complete than another, that's why! Thank you to my wonderful friend Rich for making this banner out of the blue for me!
I'm Louise. I'm passionate about astrology and complementary therapies. I live in Exeter, Devon, UK with my husband Antony, who is a tattoo artist , our son Jake, and our huge fluffy black cat, Jess who is a bit nuts. I’ve been involved with astrology now for about 20 years; It’s definitely been a lifelong passion.
I was a clinical hypnotherapist for quite a few years, with 3 years counselling training on top of that, and worked from Exeter Natural Health Centre. (I’ve also done some training and volunteer work with Exeter Drugs Project in the past).
Meditation is important to me, and I meditate daily. It seems to be vital to me in my personal development. I'm also really interested in philosophy (especially Ken Wilber's work with the Integral approach at the moment), psychology, history, archaeology and pretty much life, the universe and everything! My mum calls me the 'perpetual student' : )
I am studying with the The Faculty of Astrological Studies to complete the astrological qualifications that I've wanted to get under my belt for ages. This has been ongoing for a few years for me now.
I’m also a member of the The Astrological Association of Great Britain , and a long-standing member of Exeter Astrology Group (10 years, pretty much since it started), and I maintain the Exeter Astrology Group myspace page (see my top friends list!)
Astrologically-speaking, I've hit a time in my life when lots of big generational outer-planet 'transits' are occurring, corresponding with mid-life, so I'm standing back a bit at the moment and reassessing things. The big questions: "What it really important to me?" "Where do I want to go from here?"... that kind of stuff! : )
I intend to help more people to understand astrology better through this myspace page, and I want to offer information and articles on astrology and perhaps various therapies on here, as well as anything else that interests me. It’s a work in progress and, due to the previously mentioned mid-life transits, could be a little sporadic for a bit, so please bear with me! : )
