About Me

I'm an ex software developer, e-mail administrator, systems administrator, and data recovery specialist. I'm interested in various scientific topics, keeping up with new technology (when I get the chance), and I like to read about archeology, astronomy, and various esoteric topics. I am a fan of some anime and very little manga. I also know a few things about many other topics that you may find interesting. I always enjoy a good conspiracy that has stood the test of scrutiny by someone capable of objective evaluation. Oh, and then there is the astrology. Heh heh heh.
As above, so below. As within, so without. As the universe, so the soul.
I am the proverbial jack of many trades, master of none; consequently I am duty-bound to dislike overly judgmental people and condescending over achievers with their narrow minded assumption that mastering a few things makes you versatile in a world that is ever changing. If you are overall a strong confident accomplished person, then that is fine; But if you look down on others who do not share your gifts or ambition, then you can take your elitist attitude elsewhere and either pat yourself on the back or find some moron to do it for you.
"Poor expression" is better than no expression at all.
My greatest wish, more than anything in the world is to simply be able to help people with a contribution to my fellow humans. At one point in time, I thought that computers would be the only link necessary to making this contribution, however time and experience has shown me a world far greater in mystery and awe than I could ever imagine possible, and with mere circles and lines on a chart I now have found a very big key to what I now know as the multi-locked door known as the human paradigm. The lower-mind had no clue of what the higher-mind is now learning. From the origins of birds in kindergarten to the manner of the cosmos today, this is my path. I sometimes stumble but I manage to make it in my own unique way.
Western Zodiac: Nocturnal Gemini-rising, Sun in Virgo, Moon in Libra.
This basically means that I'm mostly a peace-loving sometimes chatty guy who can get on your nerves occasionally when I forget I'm talking to a fellow imperfect fallible human being. My Mercury placement indicates I'm a decently smart person, but I'll let you be the judge of that. A loose conjunction of Mercury to Uranus gives me a wild side and a tight Pluto Moon conjunction can be real interesting to deal with during a full-moon. Oh, and my head is also just full of ideas, that are great when they actually work. :)
Chinese Zodiac: Metal-Monkey born in the year of the Wood-Tiger.
As a Tiger by Chinese astrological ancestor, I am of the Southern triangle of humanitarian personalities along with the Dog and Horse. Among tendencies we share in common are an interest in humanitarian causes, a flair for verbal communication, and a desire for close contact in personal relationships. We southern-triangle animals are considered to be idealistic and impulsive, and tend to abhor injustice of any form. We are also capable of great loyalty to those of a particular cause we happen to agree with once we join forces. On the positive side, we can be productive, enthusiastic, independent, engaging, dynamic, and honorable. When we are being naughty, we can be rash, rebellious, quarrelsome, hot-headed, reckless, anxious, moody, disagreeable, stubborn, and vain.
As a male member of my particular ancestral species, I am deep down a good-natured person with a somewhat peaceful inclination and am well-mannered most of the time. I have an intense desire to achieve great things and desire at least minimal recognition for my accomplishments. I sometimes seek attention when I feel neglected for any odd reason but I'm working on that one. People like me normally tend to take the lead in common pursuits whenever necessary, but I don't really do that, thanks to my beloved Monkey and secret animal. I also have issues with dressing elegantly and taking risks, but why pick on a poor defenseless Monkey and other unnamed animal? The Monkey is lucky that the Tiger is normally protective of the weak as well.
As a side-note, as a Tiger I am also a passionate lover, and I'm glad to say at least that ONE Tiger trait is expressed to it's fullest extent in my personality, according to what I've been told. *whistles*
Tigers are by nature Yang-Wood animals, and it is thanks to these combined traits of animal and base Chinese-element that a Tiger is what a Tiger is. I however, have the benefit of being born during the lunar year of the Wood element to compliment my Tiger sign, which technically makes me a double-Wood Tiger. The Wood modification to my sign basically enhances my creative ability but makes me somewhat superficial emotionally.
On a final note, Tigers tend to be loners, and in that manner I also break the mold as well, because deep down I love people, and although I do tend to operate of my own devices unless cooperation is absolutely necessary, I sometimes crave good conversation with nice people.
Now, would you like to hear about the Monkey that often suppresses half of the Tiger's good qualities? Sorry, but I hate that darned Monkey, so let's change the subject...
Egyptian Zodiac: Thoth - Patron of knowledge, secrets, writing, and scribes
The Egyptian sign shows that if I do manage to bump into the right people and discover the meaning of life that I might actually be inclined to share the knowledge.
Thoth was the god who overcame the curse of Ra, allowing Nut to give birth to her five children, with his skill at games. It was he who helped Isis work the ritual to bring Osiris back from the dead, and who drove the magical poison of Set from her son, Horus with the power of his magic. He was Horus' supporter during the young god's deadly battle with his uncle Set, helping Horus with his wisdom and magic. It was Thoth who brought Tefnut, who left Egypt for Nubia in a sulk after an argument with her father, back to heaven to be reunited with Ra.
Tefnut, the Eye of Ra, became estranged from her father and fled into Nubia, taking all of her precious water with her. In this land, she transformed herself into a lioness. She raged through the countryside, emitting flames from her eyes and nostrils. Viciously, she drank the blood and fed on the flesh of both animals and humans.
As time went on, Ra missed his Eye, and longed to see her again - Egypt had dried, and the land was in chaos. He summoned Shu to him, along with Thoth, who was the messenger of the gods and famous for his eloquence. Ra issued the command that Shu and Thoth must go to Nubia and bring back his recalcitrant daughter.
Before they set off on their journey Shu and Thoth disguised themselves as baboons. The baboon is an animal sacred to Thoth. Eventually, Thoth and Shu found Tefnut in Begum. Thoth began at once to try and persuade her to return to Egypt. Tefnut, however, wasn't interested. She liked hunting in the desert and was perfectly happy where she was.
Thoth would not give up though, and wove stories to depict to her how gloom had descended upon Egypt since she had left. The people of Egypt would do anything for her if she'd just return home. Ultimately, wooed by Thoth's promises, Tefnut relented and returned to Egypt accompanied by the two baboons.
All the way there, Thoth kept her entertained with stories. Tefnut made a triumphant entry back into the homeland, accompanied by a host of Nubian musicians, dancers and baboons. She went from city to city, bringing back moisture and water, amid great rejoicing, until finally she was reunited with her father, and restored to her rightful position as his Eye.
When Ra retired from the earth, he appointed Thoth and told him of his desire to create a Light-soul in the Duat and in the Land of the Caves, and it was over this region that the sun god appointed Thoth to rule, ordering him to keep a register of those who were there, and to mete out just punishments to them. Thoth became the representation of Ra in the afterlife, seen at the judgement of the dead in the 'Halls of the Double Ma'at'.
The magical powers of Thoth were so great, that the Egyptians had tales of a 'Book of Thoth', which would allow a person who read the sacred book to become the most powerful magician in the world. The Book which "the god of wisdom wrote with his own hand" was, though, a deadly book that brought nothing but pain and tragedy to those that read it, despite finding out about the "secrets of the gods themselves" and "all that is hidden in the stars".

Do these ladies need YOUR help?

An evolving road-map to peace:

a) Require parents in developed nations to acquire a certification before having children. If they fail to do so then the children they have will not have access to free public education. If the parents are found to be neglecting an unapproved child's education then they should be jailed and their child be put up for adoption by apt parents who are capable of raising them.

b) Group all mean hateful cruel evil people (of ANY RACE/CREED/RELIGION/COLOR) into their own exclusive continent and arm them with baseball bats to kill each other off without harming the rest of us. (Thanks George Carlin!)

c) Recycle all guns into bats for above criminals.

d) Teach our children to befriend THE WORLD out of love of life instead of just Suzie down the street because she has an awesome car.

Perhaps the world will be at peace because violence will be reduced, people won't go hungry as often because there would be less mouths to feed, and everyone will be a whole lot happier because the crap-heads will either be dead or otherwise preoccupied. Oh yeah I forgot and humanity might survive because the planet didn't overheat and pollute all of us to death over some executive's need to line their pockets in whatever country with money they usually DON'T use to aid anyone but themselves.

The above standards should be set by the UN not the US.

I think we should also as people abolish any form of faith that declares itself as exclusive and promotes directly or indirectly violence toward others who do not follow that faith. (Freedom to WORSHIP not to discriminate!)

We should also acknowledge that each of the human races has it's own strengths and weaknesses, and no race is better than the other, only different. The darker races just think they're stronger than the lighter races and the lighter races just think they're smarter than the darker races. We wouldn't be able to make "gray-babies" if we weren't all ONE PEOPLE.
