We like to potter around the garden, and delight in other outdoor activities: picnics, hikes, trips to botanical gardens or the zoo. You tend to be rather subdued, but you have a fine sense of humour, and enjoy your social life
Taurus colours are brown, russet, and turquoise. The beautiful emerald, a rare variety of the mineral beryl and as costly as a diamond, is your birthstone. The emerald's rich green color is quite appropriate too, since it is the color of money, lush countryside and relaxation. Geometrically, the emerald takes the shape of a six-sided crystal and six is the number of love. Flowers for Taurus are the red rose, daisy, lily, and daffodil.
Taurus
You are very stubborn, and your withdrawn nature makes you irresistible to hotties.
You like sex to be romantic and passionate, and you know just how to make it that way. Your partners cannot resist your spontaneous and gentle nature.

Practical, reliable Taureans are great lovers of sensual pleasures, although you do tend to be rather stubborn, possessive and conservative. Firmly anchored in the material world, you have a fine grasp of what is needed in order to lead the good life. Of course, you are capable in emergencies, where you have an instinctive understanding of what to do, but under normal circumstances, no-one can force you into anything without due time for thought and consideration.
Someone who can Handle all that ^.

Taurus the Bull...With sensual Taurus, the Bull, as your star sign, the Sun shone through an earth sign on your birthday. The Sun in astrology stands for your inner nature, the stamp of your true character. The second sign of the Zodiac, Taurus is ruled by Venus, the planet of love and desire. A fixed (strong and solid) sign, Taurus governs practicality and security. It is a feminine sign and very magnetic.
Tactile and sensuous, you have a nose for personal comfort and physical pleasure. You are nevertheless quite pragmatic, with a good appreciation for the financial values as well as any aesthetic qualities. Taurus loves nature and natural things, but due to a fondness for comfort and ease, the Bull can be quite lazy. To preserve your health, you need to take some regular exercise and control that tendency to overindulge in rich foods and the other pleasures in life.
Taureans are very strong-willed and often quite creative. The Moon is exalted in Taurus, giving success with matters to do with the public and, combined with the influence of Venus, a passionate nature endowed with a strong sense of loyalty and fidelity. You are kind and generous with friends, with whom you develop an unspoken rapport.
Strong and Solid
Hunky Taurus is physically strong and solidly built. Many of you favour weight lifting or other body-building routines to keep in shape and you enjoy sports requiring strength and endurance. Health issues are often focused on problems to do with the throat and neck, or by polarity with the reproductive organs, the kidneys and so on. Taurus is naturally lazy and tends to overindulge, so a good approach to health and wellbeing would include a well-planned regime of disciplined exercise and diet.

Your sexuality is strong and deep, though not necessarily electric on the surface. Sensual, but conservative, you prefer a cosy courtship, replete with good food and wine in copious quantities. Ruled by Venus, the goddess of beauty and desire, you are strikingly attractive, in a somewhat statuesque way. Your sensuality and readiness to please make you a desirable partner for one who seeks a solid, secure and long-lasting relationship.
You have a marked fondness for all pleasures of the senses, but, of course, do not give yourself lightly to mere passing fancies. This reflects your great strength and loyalty. Elegant, erotic Venus stimulates your earthy appetites, which can be voracious when awakened. Indeed, your sexuality is more readily aroused when your appetite for edibles has been assuaged. Let's get first things first! Taurus has hungers and can be quite methodical in the satisfaction thereof. The pathway to the connubial bed is strewn with foodstuffs...A tender meeting of like minds over a delicious repast, combined with fine wine and luscious music, in a secure environment where nothing unexpected is likely to occur is your ideal scenario for seduction. Taurus, however, is straight-forward and down-to-earth in sexual matters.

Love of Music
Taurus rules the throat, giving a powerful, often beautiful voice. The influence of Venus opens up a world of musical talent and appreciation, so Taureans are good singers and musicians, or at least, love music and can be a force on the business side of music.
CURRENT MOON moon phase
Taurus in Relationships
Taurus, the feminine (yin) sheath of Venus, is attractive and magnetic. Taureans have personal magnetism and are able to draw others into their circle, rather than actively seeking them out. In other words, while they are very fond of members of the opposite sex, they prefer to be courted. Taurus is straight-forward and down-to-earth in sexual matters.
A no-nonsense approach is favoured and too much verbalising, or complex fantasising is not really Taurus's thing. Music or other forms of sensual, non-verbal expression will strike a chord in the Taurean nature.
Faithful friends (and dedicated enemies), Taureans prefer long-lasting relationships and seek to build strong alliances, although they can be misled by their sensual natures, especially when young. Taurus however will grow more stable and discriminating as time goes on, for the Taurean character is naturally inclined to permanence and the satisfaction of a job well done.
Like the Bull, Taurus is slow to anger, then briefly furious before returning to a state of preferred placidity. A lot happens below the surface with Taurus.
Friends can be quite surprised by sudden changes of heart which have actually been bubbling down there for longer than anyone could have suspected!
No matter what, a Taurus will always be there for you, they will never let you down. Always be supportive of your Taurus. A Taurus is very generous towards their partner, so expect gifts. Your Taurus likes a sincere compliment. Be patient with Taurus in a relationship, they start slow but build for the long term. Never lie to your Taurus, for a Taurus will never forget or forgive. Taurus is dependable and needs a partner who is also dependable. Never try to push a Taurus into making a decision, they will only become more stubborn. Once a Taurus mind is made up forget about changing it, for they would sooner die than give ground. If your looking for a short fling forget a Taurus, they are there for life. Never try to make a Taurus jealous, for you will loose them for sure.
Underneath their cool, calm and collected exterior, Taureans differ greatly from all the other signs of the zodiac. They are not impressed with the social standing and possessions of other people. Taureans manage to discreetly stay apart from the crowd, even though they have a well-earned reputation for being socialisers. They will let others get close, but only so close as they want them. And, there is no such thing as an open-book Taurean. Their feelings, fears and desires often run far deeper than anyone around them would guess. Like the butterfly that chooses to remain hidden in its cocoon until it is ready and prepared to emerge, so the true Taurean spirit remains hidden behind a veneer of day-to-day
The Constellation Taurus
In this particular region of the night sky, Taurus is seen as a bull's head and legs since historic times, and perhaps even longer ago. The Greek people figured out is was a bull form and thought it to be Zeus (greek God) himself, in the shape he took to pursue "Europa".
Mythology and History
Years ago in Memphis, Egypt, archaeologists unearthed the ancient tomb of the Apis-bulls and could hardly believe what they found. Leading to the tomb itself was a broad paved avenue lined by lions carved out of stone. To enter the tomb, one walked through a long and high arched corridor cut into solid rock. It extended for 2,000 feet and was 20 feet wide and 20 feet tall. Many recesses along each side of the corridor had been carved into the rock and each held the ornately entombed remains of Apis-bulls as each one died.
Spring was the time when festivals honoring the Apis-bulls were held. It was also a time when the River Nile gently overflowed its banks and brought life-giving water to the land, a time for planting to begin. At this time in history, roughly around 4000 B.C., the Sun's position along the Zodiac on the first day of spring, or Vernal Equinox, was in that constellation we now recognize as Taurus, the Bull. So for many centuries Taurus was to be the first and most important constellation of the Zodiac. Some have suggested that Taurus may have been the first Zodiac constellation invented.
Use the stars of Orion's belt to find Aldebaran in the face of Taurus, the bull.
The best time to view Taurus is in the late autumn months.
The Sun crosses Alcyone around June 21st / Prima Hyadum around June 28th / Aldebaran around July 2nd / El Nath around July 15th / Al Hecka around July 19th.
Taurus is located north west of the prominent constellation, Orion. Aldebaran can be found as the central point in the V-shape that marks the head and horns of the Bull.
The Seduction Of Europa By Zeus in Taurus
Europa was the beautiful daughter of the king of Tyre, Agenor. Zeus (Jupiter), the King of the gods according to Greek mythology, saw Europa as she was gathering flowers by the sea and immediately fell in love with her.
Zeus transformed himself into the form of a magnificent white bull and appeared in the sea shore where Europa was playing. The great bull walked gently over to where Europa stood and knelt at her feet. The appearance and movements of the bull were so gentle that Europa spread flowers about his neck and dared to climb upon his back. But suddenly, the bull rushed over the sea abducting Europa. Only then the bull revealed its true identity and took Europa to the Mediterranean island of Crete.
There, Zeus cast off the shape of the white bull, and back into his human form, made Europa his lover beneath a simple cypress tree. Europa became the first queen of Crete and had by Zeus three sons. At last, Zeus reproduced the shape of the white bull, used by Zeus to seduce Europa, in the stars. Even today we can recognize its shape in the constellation Taurus.
