About Me

My Name is Jeremy Timmins, I am a Race Car Driver, and an Aspiring Stunt Driver. I own Fast 1 Motorsports, Fast1Motorsports.com We build fast cars.
I race my cars up and down the West Coast. In 2004 I worked with the Protomotive/Circuit City Team at Laguna Seca for the SCCA Pro, Speed World Challenge Race SCCA Pro/Speed World Challenge . I started Autocrossing in 2003 with the SCCA SCCA.com . In Aug of 2007 I entered the Corolla in it's first AutoX, the SCCA National Tour AutoX in Packwood, WA. The slicks wouldn't fit under the Corolla, so we ran street tires, we didn't win, but on Sunday, we started to close the gap on the times. We were competing in DSP at a national event on street tires, against Mini Copper S's and BMW's all on slicks, with double the power, so it was a good feeling when we started to close the gap.I also started racing in Road Rallies in 2004, I went undefeated in 2004 and 2005 in Road Rally. I have to show some love for my Navigator Simon "Superman" Perkins, He only put his foot through the floorboard a couple of times, he is good with directions to, that probably helps.
In 2006, I started rebuilding my Mazda for a trip to the Salt Flats SCTA-BNI.org . I am going for the G-BGC Class World Speed Record. In 2006 and 2007 I Instructed at a Drivers Training put on by NW Autosports Association nwautosports.org . I also volunteer at Driving 101 drvn101.com and talk to kids getting there license on the dangers of street racing. I have a little experience in that world, as I was busted for doing it many years ago. So the kids tend to listen to someone who got in trouble vs the other guy, who says it is bad. I tell them where to go, if they want to race, and why it is so easy to get in trouble, or worse.
I am also Going to start running Time Attacks, when I finish the Mazda. I am thinking about giving competitive Drifting a try, I grew up sliding cars in gravel roads, just never on a competitive level. I Also Started a car club called TSDNW, in 2005. TSDNW.com
Recently our club got challenged to a 3 race teamed event. It was named the "Smackdown" it started as a couple of clubs going head to head in a Drift, Drag, and AutoX race, and the points would carry over from each event and the team with the most points would be the winner. Well as it got closer to the event to happen, more and more clubs got wind of the event, and wanted to join, so at the Start of the Smackdown, there was a total of 7 Clubs competing. It was great, the final results are still being tallied up...
Out of the clubs that showed up which were WMC, NWAA, TSDNW, CarFreeks, UCF, SSR, and DirtyDrifters, it looks like...
TSDNW took 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, and 11th in the Drift event, with Myself taking 2nd place in my 1st drift event ever.
Car Freeks Swept the Drags, TSDNW only had 3 people sign up for the drags, we were a little underpowered on that part, but everyone who signed up drove their heart out!
Both of those events were on Saturday, going into Sundays event TSDNW was in 1st place by 3 points. But now comes the AutoX, the make it or break it event. All but 3 people from TSDNW had never even seen an AutoX course before, so there was an obvious advantage to the other clubs, and only 1 car from TSDNW, had Race Rubber. We still put on a good show.
I placed 11th, Out of all the teams, including the PRO teams, 4th out of the Internet Clubs, keep in mind, that was out of all cars, in all classes. Our team Did some great driving, and we will see the results later this week. Preliminary results are showing that CarFreeks, may pull out the win. I am ok with that, we had a great time, and some cool stories... Next year, it is on though! Definitely more preparation next time around.
Look for videos and pictures form the event soon, we are still trying to catch up with everything from the weekend. The forum has been blowing up, and I have to reply every 2 min, to keep up on it. Check out the forum at TSDNW.com
I Use this Myspace to stay in contact with my fans, and to connect with other people from my industry.
Here is a little about me, and my family. I strongly believe that we are nothing, with out someone special to share our accomplishments with.
I am married to my fantastic wife Mitzy, we have been together for 6 years. I have a 6 year old little boy named "Timmy" he is going to be a race car driver just like his dad, and a rock star, just ask him.
I have an 9 year old daughter named Aspen, whom lives out of the house. We see each other all of the time.
I have family everywhere. My Mom lives in Central Oregon with her husband Bill (my Step Dad)and my younger half brother Nick. My Dad lives in Michigan with Sheila (my Step Mom) and my 4 Half Sisters, Jaime, Alisha, Becky, and Sarah.
I am a big animal lover, I have a dog named JJ (jeremy junior) lol, he is a German Short Haired Pointer/Chocolate Lab mix, and Mitzy has a new puppy that we are pretty sure is a Landseer (Great Pyraness/Newfoundland mix)She is 14 weeks old as of 3-1-07.
I have some really good friends, One of which who lives with us, Loren. He just got a Puppy in October, so Our house has 2 Adult Males, 1 Adult Female, 1 6 year old, 3 dogs, 2 turtles, and a fish. Needless to say, Our house is a little cramped, but we manage. Both my wife and I are self employeed, and Loren works with me. So long story short, we are home most of the time, working, but we are home, because of our companies we can Home School Timmy. My wife is really into Crystals and Rocks, so when I can make time, I take her to the Beach, and make her day. I should do it more often!
My goal is to grow my business to the point where I can devote all my time to my family, and take them around the world with me while I work on film sets, Driving. My Largest goal, is to race on every major race track in the world.
Thank you for stopping in, and check back often for updates, If you are a producer looking to talk about a movie, or commercial, please send me a message, and we can communicate by phone.
Look for jeremytimmins.com to be up and running soon, that will by my official Home Page.
