Pimp Out Your MyspaceThe New York City Metro Baseball League is a Non-Profit 501c3 Organization, and 18+ adult amateur baseball league. The NYCMBL is a strictly wood bat only league that prides itself on playing according to the old-time rules and traditions of America's Pastime.. Additionally, the NYCMBL strives to be an educational resource through the game of baseball to its communities. The league provides some of the best high school and public park playing fields throughout the different boroughs in New York City. The NYCMBL accepts players of all skill levels who would like to play in a highly competitive environment and give back to their community through leadership development, mentorship, and volunteerism. The league also offers an All-Star Game, 2 rounds of playoffs with a best 2 out of 3 format, and a championship series, best 3 out of 5 format. In 2007, the NYCMBL will develop programs to be fully engaged in "bridging communities through baseball".
