About Me

Hello, My name's Rachael Berry and when I grow up I dont want to have to plug my work so shamelessly.... but here we are and now that you're reading this I think you really ought to know that I love you very much and want to paint your picture.I enjoy gardening a bit too much to really say I have a social life and if you ever meet my tomatoes I hope you'll understand why. Love is good; hate can be constructive if you view it from the right places and marmite is a very very powerfull thing.Get Your Own! | View SlideshowI am refusing to paint pets of any description until the day the man in the hat threatens to break my thumbs. Until then I welcome any opportunity to paint stuff that doesn't have fur, fins or feathers and suggestions are always encouraged...

My Interests

I Work primarily in a mixture of oil and pencils but have been known to stray occasionally as far as biro, collage or even the piano. I love to paint faces more than anything but find this impossible unless I have a very good idea of what someone is like. This is why most of the pictures you will find here are of my nearest and dearest.Influences: Knowing I can always do better. Adam Harvey, Norman Rockwell, Kit williams, Gustav Klimpt and the incomparable Thom Burt to name but a few.
