Wassup My name is Pattydukes, I'm an EMCEE, ACTRESS, WRITER & FILMMAKER from the South Bronx. I'm Dominican And Puerto Rican, born in PR raised in the Bronx. My love is Hip-Hop. Every element you can imagine i tried, i wasn't all that great at the other ones except mc'ing. When i was smaller and i would listen to my brothers tapes (cassette tapes lol) and while he was outside hanging with his boys i would as fast as i could write down the lyrics of artist like Method Man. I'd memorize it and repeat it to myself over and over out loud. I never felt like i had the permission, where i'm from it was and is seen as a "boys sport". yet, over the years my love of hip-hop don't seem to escape me. My travels...journeys.. people..faces i meet... have given me the permission- the strength - the confidence to get up on a mic and just be.
