Brooklyn's Own..
From the streets of East New York, Brooklyn, BURN'EM UP started out tagging up subways with the name BURNER. In the mix of being in the hood and running into problems with the men in blue, BURN'EM UP got involved in music and forgot about the streets. Teaming up with his long time friend Animal Steele for management, BURNEM UP started DJing and rhyming. Shortly after, BURNEM UP grew tired of rhyming over released instrumentals and wanted to try his hand at making beats.
While learning his way around the studio BURN'EM UP worked on receiving his bachelors degree in Music Business and minor in Audio recording technology at Five Towns College out in Long Island. BURNEM UP mainly taught himself how to work the equipment in the studio with Protools, triton, and mpc being his favorites.
Fresh out of college BURNEM UP had no choice but to become an elementary school teacher, because music just wasnt paying the bills. Refusing to just let his dream become a hobby, he is currently on his grind managing to work as a part time teacher, producer, and a single dad. Besides from working with established artists like The Last Poets, producers Full Force, Dennis Da Menace (Co host of IMX on Fuse Network), female recording artist/writer "Brooklyn" on various projects, Francesca Maria, PITCH BLACK, DJ Vlad, Sickamore and recording and engineering some the most popular DJ Boom mixtapes, BURNEM UPs main focus is working with artists on the Dangerous LLC roster, namely, Dawn, Christ (formally Alias Christ) and Atlantic records recording artist Deemi.
Continuing to build a name for himself, BURNEM UP has added Swizz Beatz, Dylan (Making the Band), U.G (formally of Cella Dwellas), M.O.P and Young Buck of G-unit, and video model turned rapper Gloria Velez to his catalog. Besides from working with Sickamore to change the world of mixtapes, BURNEM UP has teamed up with producer Chris Styles (Dangerous LLC) to work on remixing and production.
Artists under the dangerous llc resume include 50 cent of G-unit, Olivia of G-unit, Mase of G-unit, Young Buck of G-unit, MOP of G-unit, Fabulous, Missy Eliot, Christina Aguilera and Remy Martin just to name a few.
