STORY OF A GET IT BOY
With an unpredictable flow, lyrics of a scholar and a voice powerful enough to shake a coliseum, nineteen year old recording artist LaKid Wise has the secret ingredients that he is bringing to the table so the industry "better have their plates ready." As well as dedicating his soul to Hip-Hop, his talents are way beyond the rap genre. Considering himself an overall musical artist or genius perhaps, LW is also a singer/songwriter/producer. R&B and Pop are alternatives of his but Rock is one of his best interests. It has been done before by way of collaboration such as Linkin Park and Jay-Z but never has one individual taken the chance to do it all alone. This is the story of a Get It Boy.
From immigrating to New York City at the age of 5, interning at Roc-a-fella Records at 14 to releasing his 1st LP "Holding The New York Crown" just before graduating high school, LaKid Wise is proud to present his sophomore album "Breaking Down" which has released on September 23rd, 2008. Within the past two years this teenager has evolved from a corner artist to an artist that has cornered the market. As he quotes after charming the world with his million dollar smile, "Keep your ears listening and your eyes open... Witness the real."
