Band Members: Vocals 12 string Guitar,Mouth Harmonika,Bouzouki and Mandola , Mandolin. also writes most of the songs,and books the gigs,and up-dates the websites - Graham from London,but lives in NÖ Austria.Graham made Freespirit in 2003,and had a few members before meeting and playing with David.
David has now left Freespirit after 4 years of gigging,and recording,and having a great time.David will be dearly missed.He wants to carry on with his own music,and tattoo projects,but will be with us in our hearts.We Freespirit have certainly come along way with David showing us many of his talents,and we thank him for this.Good luck for the future David,and I"m sure our paths will cross again one day.We are looking for another violin player,and there are a few candidates,who are playing gigs,and coming to practice.More NEWS later.Looking forward to when I will be able to tell you who!!!

now lives in Vienna,has been with Freespirit from the end of 2003,and has done most of the gigs with Graham
Bass Guitar/Mandolin and Driver - Josephine From NÖ Austria,and has been playing with Freespirit since the January Germany Tour 2007.Also Josephine played Mandolin on the Ireland Tour in July 2007.
Freespirit as a whole band,at the Wien Folk Festival 2007,run by "Folk Acoustic Revolution".
Also there is Morris from Den Haag Holland,who live now in NÖ,just down the road,from our studio and practice room,and he has played Drums and recorded with Freespirit and played with Freespirit for 3 gigs now.
GUEST Apearances with Freespirit
Perciphone who is a poet,Singer/Songwriter who we met last year at Tara Hill summer solstice Festival will be playing and singing with Freespirit @ Wien 2nd folk Festival on January 18th (Graham"s Birthday),and then she will be playing part of the France Tour,starting on the 25th January 2008 in München - Germany.
Dave,who we also met in Ireland and played with us,will be guesting with us on our U.K. tour,playing Banjo,Mandolin,12 String Guitar..We are looking very forward in Dave joining Freespirit.look at dave"s Myspace - www.myspace.com/daveking1994 - got some of his own music,and songs on it.

Freespirit has been invited to perform on several days of 22nd Fiddlers Green Folk Festival in Rostrevor N. Ireland.Its a great pleasure to play.
Its on the 20th - 27th July (Sunday - Sunday),with some very famous Irish Folk bands.We will play sometime between 21st - 23rd (T.B.A.)

AS the sun rises to its zenith in the sky, we remember the humanity of our existence on this planet, our unity, and come together at Tara in tribute to a common cause….
There is a great tradition, enjoyed by people of many different faiths and cultures, to gather at the Hill of Tara and to celebrate the Summer Solstice. This year, more than any other year, due to the M3 motorway crisis, we must send out a loud call for friends to come to her defence.
Freespirit was asked to play on the 22nd June 2007,and after such a great gig,Freespirit was asked to play the Saturday 23rd June 2007 also.People said we were better the Saturday night.
