About Me

SongSmith@Mr Wolf’s
Established as a Singer / Songwriter's Night in Bristol since November 2007 and showcasing 3 booked acts every Monday at Mr Wolf's (www.myspace.com/mrwolfsbar) These events are orgainsed by Jumping Joint (www.myspace.com/jumpingjoint) There will also be occasional floor spots. It's lots of fun...
It is beginning to be established as an important night on the Bristol acoustic / singer songwriter scene —it starts quite early and is over by 11am for those who don’t want to start the week with too heavy a session—there’s two bowls of noodles for the price of one, free admission before 9pm, fliers to pay the bands, and we’re there too and we’re nice and might even beer you a beer or two!
We offer an excellent platform in our opening spot for people taking their first steps in performing or more established artists showcasing new material. Our middle spot offers the ideal place for bands from out of the area to access a discerning Bristol audience gathered for the main band or for newcomers stepping up their profile.
The headline spot offers a mix of local bands and established performers who are starting to attract a following and want a headline spot as a step to headlining their own shows at Mr Wolfs and other venues in and around Bristol.
Absolutely ALL styles considered and booked. All we ask is that your material is predominantly your own.
