Rodney Cordners songs and music are a blend of the contemporary, with a touch of traditional Irish, celtic and Americana styles.
He began touring, song-writing and recording in the late-seventies and since then has performed at festivals, concert halls, clubs & appeared on dozens of TV/radio shows and toured extensively in over 20 countries.
Over the years he has released 15 recordings on vinyl and CD, 9 of these albums with French fiddle player Jean-Pierre Rudolph, and has shared stages with such artists as Pete Seeger, Stocktons Wing, Luka Bloom, the Incredible String Band, Tommy Makam and Tommy Sands.Recently Rod has recordned PASSENGERS an album of Americana style material with Irish singer Sammy Horner. Who has for several years fronted the Celtic Rock band The Electrics
