The Tall Poppy Club is a monthly singer songwriter night that takes place in the backroom downstairs in the Spirit Store. It usually takes place on the second or third Wednesday of each month. It’s aim is to showcase local talent as well as musicians from farther afield in an intimate and unique setting.
In the past it has been run by local singer songwriter, Stewart Agnew, as well as hotpress journalist, Greg McAteer. At the moment it is run by Ken Clarke and Stephen Ludlow.
