About Me

Psalm 104:33 I will sing unto the Lord as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.
I started singing in churches at the young age of 2 and since then, throughout my entire childhood, I'd jump at any and every opportunity to sing. I come from a long line of Preachers & Deacons in my family and from the get-go, was told that God gave me a gift & I should use it for Him. And although I was saved by the Grace of God at the age of 10, I, unfortunately, saw greener pastures in other music fields. I began working professionally as a singer/actress at the age of 16 in a few theaters in Tennessee. I attended Tennessee Technological University and extensively studied music there. I was accepted to AMDA (American Musical and Dramatic Academy) in 1998 to further my studies, but at the same time I was diagnosed with Clinical Depression - so, without much of a choice, I took a step back (a complete hiatus from performing and school) and was left with the only one REAL option: To re-prioritize my life, that I know, had strayed so far from where God wanted me to be. After rededicating my life to Christ I met my husband, married in 2001, and since then have even become a mother of two AWESOME boys. In 2006, I felt the Lord's calling back to music - and I have been blessed every step of the way ever since, because I heeded His call this time.Along with singing and playing guitar, I picked up the mandolin seriously in early 2007 and have really found enjoyment in it! I find a huge blessing in just singing Gospel music, giving my testimony, and fellowship with other Christians!! God's music should never be about money or fame.
I currently do solo gigs as well as play with my band Shallow Creek.
I make my home in Knoxville, TN with my wonderful husband & two blessed boys!!
