Hey ya’ll! Thanks for stopping by my MySpace page! I guess I will take a few moments to introduce myself to you. My name is Emily Edwards, and I am a Christian first and foremost! Also, I am a twenty year old singer and songwriter from Vicksburg, Mississippi. I’ve been singing since I was a toddler and have never stopped! Music is my life, and I spend my time singing and writing songs. I wrote my first song when I was six years old, and I enjoy playing my instruments- the flute, the lap harp, the harmonica, the guitar, and the piano. I have had many wonderful opportunities to perform the music that I love all over my home state of Mississippi and many other states as well. Performing has allowed me to travel to many great places, and as a result, I have met many wonderful people. Some of the places that I have performed include Loretta Lynn’s Ranch in Hurricane Mills, TN, the Jerry Clower Festival, the World Catfish Festival, and Riverfest just to name a few. A few years ago, I had the opportunity to record a few radio commercials and appear in a television commercial to educate teens about the issue of HIV/AIDS. I feel very fortunate to have played a part in this. Also, I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported me along the way! You know who you are! I feel very blessed to have the opportunity to share my music!
