I come from a musical family and I fell in love with music at the age of 15. I spent my teenage years playing in local bands and road groups. At the age of 25 I went to Nashville to further my education playing guitar. While in Nashville I learned from many great players and was influenced by players from Eric Clapton to Brent Mason. Today my playing has heavy influences of Santana’s Latin music, Blues and Cajun music. At the age of 34, I decided to pursue my own record deal with the group “Spencer Crossingâ€. The group was pursued by Giant Records, RCA Records and others. Things moved to slow for me and I took an offer to play guitar for Jo-El Sonnier. We made regular appearances on the Grand Ole Opry, Crook and Chase Show, and countless other TV shows. I have played live performances all over the United States, Canada, Switzerland and France in front of crowds of over 60,000. I have shared the stage with groups such as the Nevel Brothers, The Beach Boys, and Merle Haggard. I have played behind Eddy Raven, Doug Kershaw, T. Graham Brown, and others. After 10 years with Jo-El Sonnier I decided to come home to Vicksburg, Mississippi to spend time with my family. That is when I put together the band “DREAMER†hiring some of the most talented musicians in Mississippi. I love playing the cover tunes and the old classics that I grew up listening to. It is a thrill to play for a live audience!
